Secure4WinAgent
(GUARDIAN ageNT)

System administrators on the front lines know how cumbersome it is to manage a mixed environment. Now, Secure4Access administrators can automate the process of keeping account and password consistent throughout UNIX and NT environments.

Secure4WinAgent is a Windows NT/2000/2003 module which accepts requests from Secure4Access to create, edit, delete, activate, and inactivate NT accounts and keep passwords accounts synchronized.

Secure4WinAgent runs on Windows NT Rev 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows 2003 and operates as a Windows service, and accepts incoming requests via TCP/IP sockets.

All accounts created using Secure4WinAgent on Windows NT can be defined as either local or domain wide.

The following account options are mirrored from UNIX to Windows NT:

  • Account name
  • Account password
  • Account expiration date
  • Login time windows
  • Active/inactive status
  • Comments
